This keeps coming up, and it’s inaccurate. Gentle shaking to help a peptide go into solution does not harm typical research peptides. The “swirl, don’t shake” warning was borrowed from older protein‑handling practices for very large, fragile biologics, and it doesn’t apply the same way to the short‑chain peptides most labs are using.
